Re: Get-Together on April 28th in Southern California

(...) For those of us who may not be able to make the meeting (I will be traveling with a five- and seven-year-old who will have just spent a full day at Legoland as well as two NLS's (Spouse and Sister), so it may be too much for them), I have the (...)   Your best-ever Lego-by-the-pound (LBTP) find?

Fellow LUGNETers... I recently bought a 20.5-pound lot of Lego on eBay for $80. I think this is one of the better finds I've ever had--despite the fact that most of the sets included are from the 1997-1999 lines. It got me thinkin' of a possible (...) (26 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: Fantasmic Excitement!

Hey Bill! Welcome to LUGNET! I hope you get a chance to meet some of the people who post here. Check out the different local LUGNET organizations and see if there's a group near you. I live in Los Angeles so I'm part of LUGOLA. We have builders with (...) (26 years ago, 18-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

Last post until I get Reconnected

(FUT ?, I put it in MichLUG and loc.us.in.sb) To All, Well, among the never ending piles of boxes, LEGO containers, sets, furniture, etc. I thought I would post here. I am moving today to South Bend, Indiana, and I probably won't get connected down (...) (26 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.loc.us.in.sbd, lugnet.people)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) I don't believe there is a way to "retrieve" your password. Even Todd doesn't know what a user password, in general, is. I don't know if he keeps records of the initial passwords but I would be surprised. I am almost certain he does not keep (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.people, lugnet.admin.general)

Need to retrieve my password... Help!

Okay, I tried this in lugnet.faq, but it looks like mine was the first fresh posting there in WEEKS... so I thought I would try this here... I'm logging on to LUGNET at work (during lunch breaks, of course!) and I'm trying to find a way to retrieve (...) (26 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

I know you were specific in the email to send it on April 2, rather than April 1. And I noted that you said it was no joke and that we should keep it quiet (I did), but STILL thought it was an April Fool's Day joke! Okay, so I'm a big mook. Todd & (...) (26 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

(...) As I said before I really don't know what to be said at these times, but at least the one thing is that I'm sure of, arrangements of other people and such ,s the last thing that you should worry about. I hope you can work out the things, and (...) (26 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

(...) Todd & Suz, It saddens me that I won't be getting the chance this time to meet the legends, I think we all understand that these things happen. I know you two will work things out. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

(...) I don't really know Todd or Suzanne all that well, but I'm sorry to hear this. (...) I dunno. Sounds like a good number of people have vacation time scheduled and plane tickets to Legoland. I can't see that part being a bad thing... Perhaps (...) (26 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

Get-Together on April 28th in Southern California

Hi folks, LUGOLA is hosting a meeting on April 28th in the Southern California Area. This had been previously announced, but there have been a few changes in time and so forth due to other events. We are openingly inviting any out-of-towners that (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.org.us.lugola, lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

Dear Todd and Suz, As much as I'm sure people might be disappointed for plans falling through - we're all human. Things happen. I think (hope) I speak for everyone here when I wish you all the best. Take care, alright? With love, -Shiri (26 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)

  Re: wedding status

I have to say that I feel the same as Ross, our community was founded by you, and that friendship is of paramount importance. Many who planned to attend hold zero ill will, as they (me) still plan to go down to LEGOLAND anyhow. Granted, we will (...) (26 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.people)
