I have been objective to the standard part colour combinations from TLG for a few years now. This post is not a bashing of new greys or browns. Axles have always been black, so to friction pins. Many parts have always been produced in few colours. (...) (19 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.color, lugnet.parts, FTX) !!

Unfortunately, and inexplicably, TLG redesigned the pattterns for all of these tiles, so these are different parts.[1] (URL) the letters on the newer tiles (from set 4294192) seem consistently smaller than those in set 4677 and most seem (...) I've been able to find only one functional difference (improvement) you can clearly see here : (URL) That square limit how deep, Technic bushes for instance, can be "studded"; preventing it also to be "angled".
