Has anyone seen instructions, schematics, plans, rough sketches on napkins, etc. for custom electric LEGO parts? LEGO seems to be getting out of the electronics business, which is a shame IMHO. The available selection is quite limited (and pricey (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.parts.custom)
 
  Modifying Trans Rods
 
If you take a transparent rod and roll it around on some fine grit sandpaper for a minute or so, it will make any light you may show through the rod easier to see from the side of the rod. The process roughs the surface of the rod to make it refract (...) (22 years ago, 12-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts.mod)

I had hoped it was going to be just a little hiccup, but I had hedged and gather lights/plates/you name it when ever they had them on sale, enough for my plans, but never imagined they would wipe the 'concept of lighting' out, but it sure looks that (...) (22 years ago, 11-Aug-04, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade)
