  Modding plastic track to conducting track
 
Hi all, I'm curious what you part modders think about modifying the new plastic train track to allow it to conduct electricity. My thought was that you could use metallic conducting tape on top of the plastic tracks and make yourself a good (...) (19 years ago, 7-Jan-06, to lugnet.parts.mod, lugnet.trains)

Yes, I've seen it yet too, it's a very good idea for an item, but I don't like the new big truck line, that can't run in the city roads (see ferrari truck), and most of all the bridge, that seems to be one piece...I prefer to build the same (...) I have been luke warm about the IR-controled battery-powered trains; however, it had occured to me that I could use this system to run a trolley on the same line as a train, but then I thought of something.
