I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to sound at all constricting! Please,
please Pat, bring your ship!
I have a tendency to over-organize and I apologize.
You are right that having a theme would likely keep
people from bringing their own stuff. In all reality,
we don't have that many trains in Texas, either. This
group is new, and I would hate to discourage _anyone_
from joining in, because they might be worried that
their designs are not good enough.
The reason I like LEGO so much, and why I am excited
about our group in particular is I got such positive
and supportive energy from all of you at the last
meeting. We have people with such a wide range of
experiences and interests that maybe the theme should
be changed to "It's All Good."
Again, in my enthusiasm, I didn't mean to shut anyone
out. I'll shut up now.

| Folks: From the messages and threads being posted, it sounds like we're limiting ourselves to strictly Texas-oriented stuff. In other words, non-Texas MOCs are out for this meeting and we'll have to wait another four to six months before we can show (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.us.texlug)
