To the Trainheads among us,

We are working on adding an events calendar to the www.LEGO.com/trains • site.
This calendar will be a worldwide listing of events where Train Clubs are
showing at an Train show or otherwise displaying.

If your group has an event coming up, please email at
jacob.mckee@america.lego.com telling me the following:

-Train Club Name
-Date
-Location of Event w/ overview instructions or web site for more info
-Where the Event is at (i.e: Local Library, NMRA show, GATS show, etc.)
-Email address of contact person from your club (I may have some followup
questions)
- Basic description of the event and/or your layout

I am still working out the format for this event calendar so all or some • of
this information may be used.

Hopefully this promotion will help you drive traffic to your showing!

Thanks!

Jake

Here is my reply to him:

Jake:

RichLUG (Richmond Lego Users Group) in Richmond, Virginia, will be
displaying a layout on November 3-4 and 10-11 at the RF&P Model Railroad
Show and Sale to be held at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond,
Virginia (website http://www.smv.org/index.html).

The RichLUG layout will feature several independent loops of trains running
through a downtown, a n industrial park, "restaurant row", and a suburban
area.

You can e-mail me back at timfreshly@hotmail.com if you need more
information.  Thank you.
