One way to start the NELUG LEGO collection.

I have thought of one way that we might be able to start the NELUG LEGO
collection at a very low cost. Again this is purely optional and just
potential.
I have recently signed up for PayPal which is an On-Line payment service
http://www.paypal.com/ . As part of this they offer both $10 for signing up
and a $10 bonus to a referrer. My plan would be that any NELUG member that
uses me as a referer I will use 100% of the referral bonus towards the NELUG
LEGO collection. (Note: after March 15th the bonus drops to $5).
I would set up a web page on NELUG http://www.nelug.org/ noting each persons
"Referal Donation" so that you can be sure I am not hoarding any of the
bonuses. I will then keep the money and we can talk about how best to spend
it. Of course I think we should wait for a good sale but beyond that it is up
to the group as to how to spend the money.
Also if anyone wanted to contribute their $10 sign-up bonus as well I would add
that to the pool.

Just to reiterate I will get no money from this, 100% of the bonus will go
towards starting NELUG's LEGO collection that will be used by the group. I
only ask that you E-mail me when you use me as a referal so I know it is a
NELUG referal and not something else.
If no one signs up then this was a bad idea at worst and an unappealing one at
best. But if even one person signs up then we have $10 worth of NELUG LEGO for
basically nothing.
