You said it yourself; this is supposed to be fun.  How much fun do you
think Shiri is having sitting at home wishing she could be in NELUG, but
can't, because of an age restriction.  If you can find a way that could
*possibly* be fun, I'd like to hear it.

I'm quite certain that I never said it was fun for her.

I can tell you it isn't. Let me tell you, it's not easy to say things like
this, which is why I'm glad Chris is saying what I think, simply because he
knows what I'm going through.

It's hard to say this, but yeah- I AM alone here. It's hard to grasp, perhaps.
But it's too true. And I hear about my friends in Israel having fun, people at
my school partying, and AFOLs in Boston getting together - what can I say, am
the only one NOT having fun here? Looks like it.

I'm sorry that Shiri feels excluded. I really hope that she doesn't feel
that this is anything personal against her.

I don't feel like it's personal *against* me.
But I do think it *should* be personal *for* me.

I don't know what I can say or do beyond that right now.

I don't expect _you_ personally to do anything right now except think about
it. I mean *really* think if keeping me out of NELUG meetings is worth it, and
if standing your grounds for a principle is worth excluding me.

I also hope, and maybe even expect, that you guys talk about it next meeting,
and seriously consider either:
a. making in exception in my case
or
b. changing the cutoff age

Like I said-- just think about it. Thanks.

-Shiri
