Not only do I not mind, but I made the plans available on BrickShelf:

This gate works better with only six Technic Pin Connector cylinders on the gate
instead of the eight that are shown on the plans.

I never drew up plans for the signal light, but that's pretty easy to build if
you can find the dual light elements.  These are no longer in production, but
they occasionally show up on BrickLink.  As you may know, the dual light element
flashes back-and-forth when powered with reverse polarity, so no special
programming is required to get that effect.
