Hello all! I've been lurking for a little while and was off-and-on with RTL
in the mid-90s. I've been in touch with Chris Leach regarding GATS and
wanted to share what I plan to bring:
1. A *real* McDonald's (as opposed to the official Lego version). Should be
pretty cool. Waiting on a parts order. Will be slightly larger than 10" by 10"
2. A semi-Greek Revival bank. It's about half-done now--waiting on parts to
finish a couple of the columns mainly. Basically 10" by 5"
3. A signal tower--it should be on a 10" by 5" baseplate, with the actual
model smaller.
4. Johnny Thunder's adventure golf! Miniature golf with a hole for each
Adventurers theme. 20"x10"? Chris assures me there will be some space to
fill...
I can also bring a bunch of green-border roadplates. DACTA has a 10-pack
for $36, so I'll have a number in addition to the ones I need.
I haven't done much in trains, so I really don't have any track or trains to
bring. I do have a trolley (with the 9v train motor) if people are
interested for the display. I'll mainly focus on buildings to round out the
town. I expect 1-3 to be pretty well in hand in the next week or two and
will post photos as soon as I get my hands on a digital camera. I'll also
bring a small assortment of road vehicles...
Excited about the show!
Thanks,
Peter

| Yes, I reply to myself in real life, too =) (...) Chris Leach asked about this, so I'll spill. It's ten green roadplates--four curves, two crosses, two ts, and two straight. Item 779370 - for whatever reason it doesn't show up when you search plates (...) (24 years ago, 27-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

| Hello everyone i just wanted to say i have ATLEAST one structure done for the upcoming train show. It is an overhead crane similar to 4552 but i doesnt have a track to roll on. It has a cab that slides across smooth .3 plates with a crane housing (...) (24 years ago, 19-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
