MichLUG is happy to announce that we will be supporting the Children's Hospital
of Michigan by sponsoring a tree at the 19th Annual Festival of Trees (Detroit).
Festival of Trees is the largest annual special event fundraiser for Children's
Hospital of Michigan. Since its inception in 1985, this volunteer effort has
attracted more than 500,000 visitors from all over Michigan, Ohio and Canada.

Festival of Trees is a public display of more than 100 professionally designed
holiday trees, vignettes, an elaborate gingerbread village, handmade wall
hangings, individually designed wreaths and centerpieces, entertainment for all
ages, a festive gift shop, fun-filled children's activities, photos with Santa,
a Secret Santa Shop just for kids and more...

The MichLUG tree will feature ornaments built by patients of the Detroit
Children's Hospital as well as MichLUG members. MichLUG will also be setting up
a layout combining a Town/Train display with a Medieval Village. The tree and
layout will be on display from November 23rd through November, 30th at the Ford
Conference & Event Center.
