An unprecedented event has occured. My apartment rent has gone down.
That's right, I said down. Damn near gave me a coronary. Needless to say I
am not going to move in the coming year. It would have been a royal pain to
get all this lego packed. So, has anyone else ever heard of anything like
this happening? Lower rent. It is beyond belief. I can't think of a
stranger event than that. I am counting my blessings. 1,2,3,.........
OK, I am done counting. Hope to see you all on the 2nd. Thanks for the
directions.

But there are rents unchanged since the seventies right here in my city - by today's prices, two meals at McDonald's are more expensive than those rents (25 years of continuous devaluation of currency).
