The game description maybe needs a bit more elaborating: This is a great
game to reward people who help sort parts. We sorted about 20 5542s (and
some odds and ends from 5542s that I had already partly sorted or whatever...)

When we were all done:
- I ranked everyone based on how I thought they had contributed to the effort
- ALL the parts in their bags were put on the tables for everyone to get a
good look at. Nothing was held back
- In rank order starting with highest left that hadn't had a turn, each
person got to "pick or pass", Passing meant go to the next person. With one
exception everyone wanted to hang back so it turned into reverse rank order. (1)
- A pick consisted of selecting some bag of parts and asking me if the
player could have N parts from it:
   - N started at 1
   - If I said yes, they got N parts of that type and their turn was over
   - If I said NO, and the bag had never been picked before ever, N went to
N + 1
   - If they picked a part that someone had tried for and I had said no, N
stayed at N unless i felt like bumping it on a whim (or forgot)
   - Repeat, possibly incrementing, till I said YES to something.

This is a quite strategic game, it depends on knowing what it was I craved
most from the parts haul and planning *when* to ask for what. People that
guessed wrong ended up with just one of something. People that tried for
things that I really wanted ended up with a LOT of something I didn't want
as much. Jaime Bliss got 3 pairs of black train doors by asking for things I
really wanted first and getting me to say no 5 times in a row.

We did two rounds so everyone had a chance at some goodies. I found it quite
hard to say no to stuff as the numbers crept higher and higher as 5542 has
so MANY great parts in it.

- Midway through the second round Jason realised that a lot of stuff was
becoming unbumpable and wanted to get in and get something before all the
good stuff wouldn't move N up any more so he stopped passing his turn and
took it.

  Saturday Meeting Minutes

Hello hello! Saturday Oct 20th was another day for the well Michlug meetings. :D Okay. This is my version of the meeting today. Me and my friend DJ got there at 11:30am and started to set up. We got annoyed by some of the kids that were there for (...) (23 years ago, 21-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
