| Al & All, (...) Well, I think everyone is getting ready for our show in Livonia this weekend, and after the last couple of weeks, a little breathing time is a GOOD thing. Ervery now and then we hit a lull. Scott Sanburn -- (24 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
| | | | | Is the Yahoo group dead?
| For those of you who read the Michlug private mailing list... Is it dead? There weren't any posts since Saturday. Seems unlikely. -Alfred (24 years ago, 18-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)
| | | | | MichLUG Logo Contest
| For some time we have been using a MichLUG logo (1) that has been sort of a placeholder until we can up with something better. Now is that time. We want a new, nice logo that will look great on a shirt. Something that will hold its own against the (...) | | | | | My opinion on drivers...
| If (and when, hopefully) Lego makes drivers for steamers, I think they need to meet this criteria: Available in both blind and flanged versions. Available in medium and large versions. Large ones would be about 1 1/2 times the height of a minifig. (...) (24 years ago, 2-Nov-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

| | | | | 0-4-0 Porter and Shorty Caboose
| Hi all, I finally got around to uploading pics of my latest steamer, an 0-4-0T Porter. I also uploaded pics of the caboose I built to match. The prototypes for both were narrow-gauge, so I tried to capture that feeling on standard gauge track by (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.announce.moc)

| | | | | Romanesque Church
| Some of you may have seen pictures from MichLUG's July 2002 GATS appearance of my church model. The original, St. Mary's of Redford Catholic Church in Detroit MI, was designed in the 1920s by the architect Ralph Adams Cram in a French Romanesque (...) | | | | | This is odd...
| My 0-4-0T Porter can easily pull about 3 times the load that my 4-8-4 Greenbrier can. WHY!?!?! Does anyone have a suggestion about why the little one pulls so well? The 4-8-4 has about the weight of the Porter at the rear over the motor, and runs (...) (24 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.michlug)
