Re: Pictures Posted from Saturday's Meeting

(...) Both of Peter's towers were super neat. It's meetings like these that pull me in every direction. I want to make more castle stuff, and more space, and more train, etc... Too many ideas, not nearly enough bricks or time. (...) Thanks. Yes I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

(...) I know the feeling. It was rain most of the way from Lansing to Kalamazoo, but from Kalamazoo to St. Joe was really rough. No complete white-outs, except when the Semi Trucks were passing me, and sending a wave of sleet, snow, and slush over (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Jason & All, (...) It was fun, it was great to meet some our new members, e-mail is all right, but face to face is always better. The weather was so bad yesterday (Total white outs on I-69 between 94 and 80/90) as Lynn and I were driving home, that (...) (24 years ago, 4-Mar-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Blaaa...aaah. I would have been there, but we were getting lost in K-zoo. It looks like the facility is real nice and the models were great. Whose grey octagon-building is that? I like it alot.   Re: Super Chief Weight Issues

(...) I would agree there. You get BENEFIT from having the motor on a heavy vehicle because it reduces slippage. A few random observations. Manfried is right, 3 motors will often give worse performance than 2. And 4 can be correspondingly even (...) (24 years ago, 3-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.michlug)

  Great meeting

Darn, Darn, Darn. I forgot my crab fetuccini alfredo. That is a great restaurant, with very reasonable prices. The retreat is a fairly decent sized place for meetings. (...) Technically a K8 (no hyphen) is a box size designation. It says K8 on the outside of the box (just like some LD boxes say Dim 24 or whatever) I saw a K8 last nite that had sets in it, it was an interstore transfer. No parts in it at all. But (...)
