Late April Meeting - April 30th!!!

Some of you may have met Ray Quan (father) and Justin (son) at the last LUGOLA
meeting in Santa Monica. Ray has generously offered to host an April meeting on
April 30th from 12noon to 4pm. He has booked a clubhouse which opens onto an
outdoor patio complete with a pool! Ocean view in Long Beach.

We can have the event either indoors in the clubhouse or if it's not too sunny
on the outdoor patio overlooking the beach or both.
Miriam (Ray's wife) is planning to serve lunch (tentative menu to grill h'dogs
and h'burgers).
Pool and beach front is right there wives and kids are welcome.
There is a condo unit adjacent to the pool, patio and clubhouse for bathroom
use.
Ray has some little-nothings door prizes at Anaheim Lego Brand Store. Any ideas
for games and what not??

Entrance to condo and parking gate is on 9th Place.
Because of parking gate and locked lobby entrance Ray will have to post a
doorman at street level to direct traffic, let people in and have place in the
lobby for members to drop off their Lego creations. As is always the case near
the beach, parking is somewhat of a pain but not impossible. So the plan is to
drop off at the door and then go find a spot.
Any other ideas would be welcome.

| Just sending out a reminder to everyone that the meeting is this Saturday. In past meetings, we've had people request certain parts to bring to the meeting and I'd like to revive that a bit. I know sites ending in _bay and _link have had a negative (...) (20 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)
