Yes - do a higher is better scoring system...I, for one, will be less confused.
We can then award bonus points for the design of the vehicle. 4WD, rear
steering, and multiple types of suspension points (ie - 2 wheel suspension, 4
wheel suspension, 4 wheel independent suspension, etc)
