first off i want to say I HATE AOL as i type this for the third time.
for those that couldnt make it here is the what got done.
1. Everyone helped get all the track laid down including a few minor changes
for the better, like adding a third loop, more sidings, and a better arranged
yard. thanks to brian darrow for supplying the rest of the track and for
modifying a few points. Steve fixed the track under the castle to accept
8-wides, and we then ran jeramys and mine 8-wides for a while.
2. Steve completed the arched bridge which now spans a complete table, and
restrung the suspension bridge both work well.
3. We laid out the road plates and some baseplates. It looks like we need
more curved green roadway and LOTS of large green baseplates
4. We installed steve train station and mark extended the platform for a total
of 6 baseplates long.
5. Jeramy and mark worked on the incline into the mountian. Jeramy and brian
discussed finishing the mountain.
anything else I cant remember?
I got nominated to build the road bridge over the gap in the tables between town
areas. I would like to use the straight road plate from set 6600
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/6600_2 but i need three more. I would like to
borrow them for the show and then give them back and might even consider
purchasing them. Or I could use the straight track from set 4586
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/4586 but need 8.
We had a guy stop by (whose name I cant remember) that saw us at the roadshow
and we chatted a while.
And I want to thank Kim for dinner the spagetti was delicious.
This build date was a success. Look forward to more. We have less than 7
weeks to the GATS show

| I will be able to come to the next build session (Aug. 31), since I have that Sunday off from work. I'll probably get there about 3:00. I know that we need more green 32X32 baseplates, but do we need very many blank ones? (By "blank ones" I mean (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)
