Jeramy has posted a new home page at www.indylug.org so we can get a feel for the
look and feel. I don't know if I'm jumping the gun on announcing it, but I had
some thoughts which I thought might engender a discussion, so I decided to go
ahead and post.
First, thanks, Jeramy. The graphics quality is first-rate.
My initial impression was that it looked like an industrial web site, which isn't
a bad theme, considering we're all builders :) . But it did seem lacking in
"fun"ness. (I know, I know, first the web page is too much fun, now it's not
enough!) There may be some low bandwidth changes that would do the job, such as
brightening the color scheme, or adding a sidebar "featured item". The angular
graphics also contribute to this. Maybe just rounding the corners a little?
What does everyone else think?
