For the DCC, I think this is where I can bring my electrical training to good use. After all, my backup was programming ;) If you're interested in converting, I can offer 1 of the motors I got from those Target sets (4561). I mostly purchased them (...) I was thinking after the meeting last month that it would be handy to have a dedicated IndyLUG PC in the barn, hooked up to the Internet (using Steve's phone line, of course :) ) It would keep us out of Kim's hair, and make it easier to do (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)

It looks like all the pieces are in place for L-guage DCC! I do think DCC the way we need to go, even though is will cost $50 minimum per train motor. I'm not that good with a soldering iron, but I can follow instructions, and the ones at the link (...) (21 years ago, 29-May-03, to lugnet.org.us.indylug)
