btw, you gave me an idea, I gotta break out the Biff and Sandy figs I have
and take the crowning pictures.

Biff and Sandy figs! What!?!?! Are they included just for display with the
rover, or does this mean that they might be made available for sale someday
like they should have been either when the NASA sets were released or when
the rovers were prepared to touch down?

As a participating Local Lego User Group at the LEGO Make and Create, What will
You Make? tour; GardenSLUG, and all the other clubs that displayed on the tour
across America, were given a set of the two figs per member, as a thank you from
the LEGO Company. (AKAIK)

BTW, you know that if an AFOL ever
does make it to Mars, the first thing that’s going to happen upon touchdown
is the minifigs are getting pryed off those rovers to be smuggled back to
Earth.

The extra weight of the two Mini-Figs should be avoided.
Assuming they are still there, not melted aleady, then burry them until Fed-Ex
sets up shop.
