Unless someone wants to volunteer right now, I still think it would help to
know what dates people just can't make it, since that at least narrows down
the possibilities and would also help the person who does end up hosting
nail down a better date rather than picking one randomly. I'm trying to
keep a running tab in the Gardenslug-list Erik started of when people have
said they can't make it for any of the following weekends (Saturday was the
consensus better day, though):
August 26/27
September 2/3
September 9/10
September 16/17
September 23/24
September 30/1
October 7/8
-or-
can make any of these Saturdays
If you can't make any of these days (or can make them all) and you aren't on
the private Gardenslug-list
(http://www.pairlist.net/mailman/listinfo/gardenslug-list to join), feel
free to email me and I'll update the tab. So far, late September/early
October looks better than anything earlier. 8/26 is, I think it's safe to
say, a pipe dream.
