  Re: JULY BAYLUG MEETING

Hi, Having been to the Sunnyvale Library, they have a room near the kids area, to the right as you go in that would be ok, a major issue however is direct outside access, as we probably do not want to be carting lego and have lots of people (...)   Re: JULY BAYLUG MEETING

(...) I work in Mountain View, and from the web site I find that the Mountain View library has a room you can reserver for (IIRC) $10. However, I have never been to said library and don't know how big it is. However if the last BAYLUG meeting was (...) (24 years ago, 30-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

  Re: JULY BAYLUG MEETING

(...) I have tried calling several community centers in San Jose, but they all want a $300-500 cleaning deposit. The only library in San Jose that I am aware of that would have enough space for us would be the main library downtown. But I don't know (...)   Re: JULY BAYLUG MEETING

Well, lots of libraries have rooms like this. I live in Santa Cruz, and I doubt you would all like to schlep over 17 for a BayLUG meeting, so I can't really offer much. (...) No worries. However that whole weekend is bad for me. If all goes according to plan, I will be at LEGOLAND that weekend. Russell (24 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.us.ca.sf, lugnet.org.us.baylug)

Re: Some ideas for next time

Hi All, I'm guilty, we arrived late, at about 12 noon. I put up the pennants and pulled up the shades some time after we arrived after unloading as there did not appear to be much "club" business going on. Won't happen again. Mark (...) ---...--- (...)   Re: Some ideas for next time

(...) The "LEGO" banners and window shades went up around noon, so there was some time before hand, but not enough. I agree that it would be a good idea to post a sign up that says what it is, so passers-by can know. How about something like this: (...)
