Mindstorms with lego trains?

To All,
I’m curious if anyone has used mindstorms in train shows. If no one has then
is it possible? In Michlug we had small problems with the controlling of
trains. We would have a large loop for our trains but we had three
controllers. We had to turn off all three dials to stop the train. Luckily
we had a power kill switch when a train derailed. We had more than one loop
that means more controllers. Dose anyone have suggestions on these problems.
We got second place in the show so I was wondering if that was because we
didn’t have control of our trains. I’m not sure it might be because we used
“Lego” trains. Ideas please.
