That's just the thing, Matt. By the time she's "old enough", she'll be in
Israel, it will make no difference to her. In my own opinion, as an outsider,
I can't understand why exceptions absolutely *will not* be made. I joined
GMLUG when I was only 17, and no one there had a problem with that. I guess
my main point is why is the only (to MY knowledge) group to have an age limit
NELUG? Sure, it's probably one of the more "active" LUGs, and while I can
understand the "no babysitting" rule, I can't see why the members of NELUG
can't vote or something to see if special cases can be made. Unfortunately,
while in good intentions, I'm sure, this rule comes off a little arrogant, and
I feel that it should be changed. But, not being a member of NELUG, my word
doesn't count. I just thought I'd toss my 2 cents in.
