Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) Janey - don't feel too bad...we have all been there. Though I would say Steve has had to bear the most aingst about those little soccer balls. You had to be in his dining room to see the look on his face when my GBC module kept firing the cute (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: GBC group??? (and a sad story)

(...) Since its you posting, I feel I ought to make some comment about ball pumps etc ;) But I shall refrain. Yes, the design of these wonderful constructions, GBC modules, do have to be approached with a certain amount of care. Despite the inherent (...) (21 years ago, 30-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

GBC group??? (and a sad story)

Hey Steve et all... I think it's about time you lobby for a GBC group on Lugnet. I have been searching old posts, and checking out web sites... because after a few failed attempts at GBC I thought I would get some divine inspiration from the (...)   Re: Meeting Dec 3rd in Monrovia

(...) Plenty of space at my place. We usually hang out in the LEGO area aka the garage and have tables flow into the driveway. If you have space to bring tables go for it. Typically though we have plenty of table space. I don't think the email has (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: T3 Board colors & rules

(...) Feel free to suggest options. This method actually only requires one open sensor port. As John pointed out, that port can also be used for a touch sensor so a person can play against the robot. Or you can use the port for other things, while (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

Re: T3 Board colors & rules

(...) My concern with this approach is that your robot needs to use an output port and an input port just for communicating with the opponent. I haven't designed or considered my solution to the competition, but I might want my ports for other (...) (21 years ago, 29-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)

  Re: Indy GTX & GBC

(...) Steve - you can probably count me in for the January show if you need me. I suspect the Duck can be made to look like something that goes with a train layout, along with my new conveyor (not the one I had in Chicago). So, keep me in the loop. (...)   Re: Meeting Dec 3rd in Monrovia

(...) I think I will be able to come, and I'd like to be bring as many mocs as I can, but having never been to your place I don't know much room you have. If it would help I can bring extra tables, but if you've got plenty of space that's great. And (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.lugola)

Re: SCLTC fourth annual winter show at SDMRRM starts Tuesday

(...) FYI, this layout is also featuring some animation besides trains. There's a large windmill farm, a ferris wheel and a running narrow gauge train(4 wide track as oppossed to 6 wide). (...)   Indy GTX & GBC

The GTX train show is coming up in January. IndyLUG usually uses the same layout as they used in October, so we have the same size area allocated. I'm pretty sure everyone has destroyed their modules. If you don't want to rebuild in the same size (...) (21 years ago, 28-Nov-05, to lugnet.org.us.laflrc)
