Re: Web Cam at the Next Lego Event - Thoughts?

(...) Excellent! I measured it last night and with going over a plant pot and the tree it should be fine and safe. 100' should do it. Tell me, where can I get them joining connectors? Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego (...) (24 years ago, 6-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Web Cam at the Next Lego Event - Thoughts?

(...) The cabling isn't going to be a problem... I have secured a 100' cat5 cable (I should have it soon), if it isn't long enough, I'll bring a connector to link it to the 50' cat5 cable. Sound good? (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: Web Cam at the Next Lego Event - Thoughts?

(...) The problem is that I don't have any connectors to link cables together... I have one hub available but I'll need that to link from the living room out... I also have to make sure no one's going to trip over the cable so my thoughts were to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Web Cam at the Next Lego Event - Thoughts?

Considering myself a competent Web Cam operator I'd like to get your opinion on the following: How do you, THE MEMBERS, feel about having a Web Cam (60 sec refresh) of the event this saterday? My greatest issue is to get a cable long enough to (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

  Re: pictures finally up

(...) Great pics. I'm very glad we keep visual records of our events this way. It's greet to see all the fun preserved. Brings a smile to my face. Though I'm sure Lego Legal would prefer we not use LEGO BRICKS for the photos... Maybe they should (...) (24 years ago, 5-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: New VLC Logo Idea -- TLC's reply

(...) <more good stuff snipped> As a *former* SONY employee, I should quote one of their slogans: "If it isn't a SONY, it isn't a Walkman." SRC Man, these ALL CAPS show up are all over the place... ;-) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)

Re: New VLC Logo Idea -- TLC's reply

(...) I like the corner slope. If you rotated it 90 degrees clockwise, you'd have an L for LEGO, and if you went 45 degrees, you'd have a V for Vancouver... Just some feedback from your sunny neighbour to the east. :-) SRC (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc)
