I was telling Iain the other day how I didn't have progress....well this
morning I got a very nice E-mail from the vendor saying that my "agent"
had contacted him and was waiting for my "approval" by contacting the
agent...very strange procedures.

I had to go the route of having a middleman because the vendor (seller)
would only "SHIP to GERMANY"...ususally with these auctions, I tend to
just wait until the item is sold by someone else....

but this is a rare set (that tends to go for 70$ and up....) so I won the
auction and I had an agent lined up...a very cordial person who not only
agreed to ship it to me but also handle the transaction for me....
well I was surprised at this, but had his address / closest city...

found out that Western Union had a agent in his city Deutscheland Post
Bank.....so I sent him the money, and then sent him an update that
I had forward enough money for him to cover the transaction and
a little "kicker" on top....

Alas, I got no further response, and was slightly upset at the reminder
to pay seller notice....so I contacted the vendor, and he said that
my agent had contacted him, and was just waiting for me to
contact the vendor for the authorization.....

Wish me luck because in 3 to 5 days, I hope I'll find out one way
or the other how this transaction is proceeding.
