Stupid crazy sales at TRU Canada today after rtlToronto14: Fun With Drain Pipe.
First, we spent a few hours looking for the famed Nibco C5806 non-SR large
radius 45 degree joint. Not Canadian Tire, Rona or Home Depot has this unit at
all, even though they have a five foot wide poster showing it on above their
shelves.
We did leave however with a 12 foot segment John hacksawed at the store and a
can of ABS cement.
Then there were the sales at TRU that Derek and I checked out afterwards--50%
off:
7153 Jango Fett's Slave 1 $17.50 (2)
7119 Cloud Car - $3.67 (2)
7201 Final Duel II - $2.50 (2)
7143 Jedi Starfighter - $15 (1)
AND, if you bought more than $50, you got a free 4105 bucket. Pretty cool. Needless to say we aimed for many buckets :) I even caught Derek trying to figure out what it would take to get to the next bucket and helped him by buying an extra Slave1.
The Jango Fett Slave 1 is a NICE set at $17. Some nifty pieces-
