Is my 2nd attempt. I just use the conveyer, and a given set time to load. It
works OK with a mixture of 1x1 bricks (round and regular), but does tend to jam
up.
I have the RCX code if you want, but it is really quite simple. 9 cars were
pushed in (manually change trains, drop off the brake van(caboose), then change
engines to the KoF, and reverse it in until it was over the RCX/mainline gap,
then hit run. Problems I have (using NQC), is that Power Level 4 hardly moved
the train, and PL5 sent it rocketing backwards!, and that if a jam happens
inside the feed hopper, some cars would not get loaded- about 1 in 10, this
happened- however, a smaller more granular substance might work better!-the
suggestion is black beads of 20 sides or such like would work, I believe this
is what NALUG is using for grain. I was using 2 sensors (one light, one
touch), and 2 outputs (one to train, one to conveyer motor) to run the loading
portion of the operation (the other output was used for the mine...I should see
about more current photos, since it moved off the floor, and had a actual
mineshaft dug :)
Best of luck with it...

| Hi folks, I thought I'd mention that in my chunk of the train1 layout I intend to provide a reversing loop (If S@H delivers my points fast enough) The basic idea here is that with the reversing loop and a tiny amount of training about how to throw (...)
