THe only justification i have is that I'm going to be sooo busy this summer
w/ work that I wanted to get at least some preliminary stuff done before the
rush hits.
Besides, this competition and design gives me an excuse to at least get away
from sititng in front of the 'puter all night playing Everquest.
See? You guys are here for me! I knew you were all concerned about my
health and all, and even my mental attitude (with that magic conversation we
were having earlier....)
Speaking of that conversation, I never got into the 'Dave' philosophy of
religion, magic, et al.
which is, bottom line, what the anabaptists do... I live my life, believe
what I believe because, imho, it's right, just and true, but i will not,
cannot and just won't, force that opinion on anyone else. It's like Joshua
said (at least I think it was Joshua)(paraphrased) 'They can do as they
please, as for me and my house, we will follow the Lord'.
That's my bottom line. Live as a (sometimes tainted) example of the Lord
working in me. If you like, I'll try and help you with your walk, but I
will not hit over the head, go door to door, or otherwise 'bible-thump' my
way across my life. Again, imho, that pushes otherwise receptive people,
who might appreciate the message, away from God and what good is that?
anyway, my soap box is creaking under the weight of soo much hot air here,
i'm stepping off now.
As someone said earlier, the preceeding message is in no way a reflection of
