It was the best show EVER-along with the great movie Blue Thunder--basically
about people with really cool helicopters.  I think the Airwolf model was a
modified Bell 222.

(...) If you had looked at the links I provided, you would see that the helicopter from your show is featured on the backdrop of Airwolf. That is it's primary theme, hence the name of the ride, "Airwolf"*. Iain *-not unlike how "Top Gun" is a themed (...) (21 years ago, 2-Apr-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
