As an update, I just did a transfer from my paypal account ( USD ) to my local
bank. Did the transfer Sunday night, and the funds were there this morning.
Paypal only charged .85fee, but the exchange rate was a little bit low at 1.52.
No fees on my bank's part:-)

Open a TD/Canada Trust account Then open a TD/Waterhouse USA TRUE USD IN USA account Connect PayPAl to Waterhouse account Withdraw with NO FEES, get a super exchange rate moving money between Waterhouse and CAnada Trust (...) (22 years ago, 1-Nov-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
