I'm so excited,
Last night I broke the ten-year drought and actually built (wait for
it...) some rolling stock!
Woo hoo!
I always wind up getting in over my head on the terrain, and leave the
rolling stock to the last minute + 1, and wind up bringing My Own Train
cars or some such.
Well, no more!

Ta-da!
(btw, the model is real - my camera batteries died so I rendered it
rather than wait until tomorrow to post pics)
OK, it's not the most impressive engine ever, (in fact it's kinda plain)
but I'm thinking of putting a similar livery coach ahead and behind it,
or possibly just 1 or 2 behind it. The coaches would also be short --
16 or perhaps 20 long.
I modelled it after a vague impression of one of the British local
service vehicles I saw. Realistic modellers may now roll their eyes...
I was looking for a suitable small engine for the Altenburg level -
hopefully this will fit the bill.

| (...) I think it looks very cute... I think adding too many cars on the back, and it will look mean. 3 cars would be fine. My first impression of the rendering is a very small street car. But that is only my opinion. Ben (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
