My favorite mechanisms:
The castor that Iain showed me

Some of the EOATs from the last competition...The two that I remember best
(because I was running around judging, I didn’t get a chance to look at all
the robots in detail) were Calum’s and Chris’s.

The counter-rotating wheels used to pickup / throw blocks

I’ve also been very impressed with Dave’s ability to have his large/heavy
robots drive and turn so smoothly

Hi folks, Iain and I have been talking about giving a talk about competition robotics at BrickFest 2002. One of the things we thought about presenting was a library of favourite mechanisms, such as the 24t to worm. Anyone else have good suggestions (...)
