this is to mainly Richard, the real die-hard castle enthusiast in our local
group...
I'm sure the others in the group will find it a light read!! :)
Well I got my latest Shop @ Home shipments, and proceeded to work on
castle design I implemented a couple weeks ago. After I decided to stop
building for the evening, I was surprised, almost shocked to see how quickly
pieces were being used up.
I built the entrance, and the front outer wall. I also built the base of the
keep (the rear part of the structure).
I like how things are turning out, and will probably bring it to the next
dinner. Took a few moments today to look at the Mindstorm Constructopaedia
so I can begin to have a rough idea on how to put together my soccer robots
for 10.1.
Right now I am still in the castle-building mode. I was able to attatch
the draw-bridge I had built over a week ago (the one I wore to the dinner
as a neck-lace), it looks interesting.
The only 2 things that were said bad about it was: (criticism from my younger
sister,) she wanted more blue regular plates (1 by X) in the "moat", and she
wished the gate was turned the other way....a plate on the drawbridge is in
the way to prevent the door from opening to the outside....it is opened on
the inside.....she is very demaining....
