Speaking of not getting things done in time:
I've started the mods to let the Go train through, but frankly it's a
huge task. I've got much of an entire module built as a pretty solid
22-brick-deep structure, completely overlapped brick style. I've got to
remove about 5% of it and shuffle it around and rebuild it to let the Go
Train through. This is simply more than I've got the time to accomplish
before Saturday :(
But of course I'll feel like a jerk if I have the only module that the
Go Train can't go through.
So here's what I'm doing: I'm bringing enough brick to effect the
repair/renovation job TO THE EVENT. When we start to tire of running
the trains, all those interested can dive in and help me shred the
mountain and rebuild it. I figure it'll take 3 knowledgable people about
an hour, maybe 90 minutes. 3 knowledgable people and some amateur help,
2 hours ;)
Fair enough?

| Don't worry about it. I only wanted it done if time and structure allowed. It looks like I'll be able to run most of the way around this time so I'm happy. I still plan to build 8 wide, so in the long term it would be nice to have one loop that I (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jan-02, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
