Has anyone come up with any preliminary (sp?) names for their robots yet for
rtl10?

I'm going with "eccentrica", based on the design of my robot (hint: it's
none of the concepts I showed at dinner, it's something new now :) ).

(it was going to be either eccentrica, or Io (one of Jupiter's most violent
moons). I still might go with Io, I don't know. The robot does sort of have
eccentric orbits, so... hmm! Io is nice.)

Songs of the moment:

Ayumi Hamasaki - Cybertrance (Above + Beyond mix)
Delerium feat. Rani - Underwater (Above & Beyond mix)

Oh, and BY THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read the little plate in the T1's last night with regards to the rules of
the TTC.

GUESS WHAT.

You're only not allowed to film without a permit *IF ITS FOR COMMERCIAL
REASONS*. I can film all I want, as long as it's not for a commercial
purpose.

I wonder of STCUM is the same way?

I am going to be VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY CROSS if that's the case and the
moron who told us off just miscommunicated that concept to us. IE, he
thought we were making something to sell, so told us there was a fine, when
really all I wanted to do was record + edit for my own use and that would
have been allowed.

(...) I think Mario and I were going as the "xEmployees"...but I figure we should get a working robot first before thinking of the big naming thing. Calum (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
