rtlToronto, ParLUGment and MonLUG are proud to announce the TOMLUG Alliance,
the Toronto-Ottawa-Montreal LEGO User Groups Alliance.
We have agreed to not only accept the free flow of members between our
groups but encourage members all our groups to participate in all events.
Members of all the groups have a standing invitation to attend all meetings
and events held by any of the three groups (transportation permitting, of
course :-)
The creation of this alliance is not just wishful thinking, but is actually
the officialization [1] of what we have seen over the last few months, with
events like rtlToronto's train2 [2] and MonLUG's train show this weekend as
well as several other group meetings.
The alliance will give us the encouragement in seeing larger numbers
participating in events in our various cities, as well as giving us
opportunities to meet more AFOLs. Perhaps, it will even increase our buying
power [3]. For sure, it will help us in organizing a Canadian Fest.
I am looking forward to the future in this alliance.
Peace Out,
Jude Beaudin

[1] is that a real word?
[2] at which ParLUGment had complete attendance in Toronto
[3] a guy can hope, can't he?
