I believe it is called "militia" or Canadian Reserve Armed Forces...
same basic concept as US Reserve/National Guard except US soldiers get
slightly better benefits...

So far things are things are fairly boring....I am a dispatch clerk with
the battalion motorpool...it isn't too bad, get to see tank (that is one
tank) and several APC's.
