My robot just measured height.  Here's a video of my robot rejecting a can as
being "too short":

This video shows the flaw though - the can my robot accepted was empty,
therefore having the lowest mass!

In a separate task, I made a counter that, at a certain point, would start
accepting shorter and shorter cans as we approached 2 minutes.

Just a quick post. this is a SHORT video of Waynes robot, and mine, each capturing a can. (URL) had learned during the trial elimination rounds earlier in the day that those cans could move VERY very fast. We changed the game a bit to allow for can (...) (16 years ago, 27-Jan-09, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
