Really? I've been watching for a while, and haven't noticed any great drop in
prices. I've bought a lot of Mindstorms off eBay (well, OK, not a lot, but at
least some). I've never payed over $53 for a 1.0 RCX, and never more than $120
for a complete RIS 1.0, 1.5, or 2.0. It looks like closing bid prices are
similar. I have noticed a slight drop in motor prices lately, but then again
about a month ago, for some reason, there seemed to be a glut of gear motors up
for auction.

Pretty good deal. I guess the question is how many auctions you get outbid on
before you secure that price. I tend to bid on a lot of stuff, but win very few.

| (...) I've seen RIS sets going for a little under retail until relatively lately--now they've seemed to dropped alot. But I've not kept close watch, so there were probably deals to be made even before the NXT Thanks for the info, Brian! Dave K (18 years ago, 12-Oct-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
