(...) the thing with this "idea" is that many if not ALL cell phones do not have the ability. the Piezo elememnt that produces the ring is physicaly not able to make noise above 15k (i think) Chris Pinch (18 years ago, 14-Jun-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

I don't believe that any copyright Compound Systems might have covers all uses of an 18 kHz tone, and I also don't believe that a patent on "a (...)
