In which I go on about my latest build--it's together and all the parts work
separately, but, as noted in the blog, when put all together, there were a few
issues.
That didn't stop me from making a blog about it...
And since block transfer videos are all the rage, I added one of those, too!

I also noted in the blog that I must give Chris some credit-I overheard just a
snippet of conversation along the lines of, 'if you stack two plates and attach
them to the side, you'll have good spacing to hold the blocks without binding'
or somethign like that.
Now I've used the various methods of achieving under 1 stud bracing before, but
those were for trains and such. I hadn't considered using such knowledge in my
'bot building experiences.
So my hopper, thanks to Chris, is just over 2 studs in each direction--the
blocks never bind nor do they have much 'play room' to get themselves stuck.
It's perfect!
