This is embarasing. When I was like, I don't know, a kid (sometime back then),
I was at a steam show in the states with my parents somewhere. At those types
of places they often have junk for sale etc... some guy had the Supercar, opened
but everything in the bags still, for $50. FIFTY DOLLARS. I wanted it so bad.
My parents wouldn't let me have it (even when I explained it was like a $200
set) no matter what. I was so sad! Some fat old guy came over and explained
that I had to "not get excited" over these things otherwise the vendor wouldn't
knock it down in price.
At the end of the day it was down to $25 and they still wouldn't budge.
I still have the one I finally did end up buying, siting on my shelf unopened.
And as dorky as it sounds I'm saving it to build it sometime when I finally find
a "special someone", so we can build it together.
Dave, screw the board. Get going on your PnP!

| At work, counting the minutes until 5 when I go home and make more GBC's and look at the arena... But since nothing is being posted, I'm seriously considering taking Chris up on his challenge--I can go for another 8880. But alas, that 'do good' (...)
