several of us were chatting about a new game.   to those people I have
some more questions.

I stopped of at the shop and built a small 2 rung ladder.   this I
what I've learned.

who ever builds this ladder will need:

1.    12' length of 1/2 copper pipe is about $5.75 @ home depot.
2.    a  2x4"  x 8'  is about $4.50

running cost of parts is:

6  12' pipes  -   $34.50
2   2x4         -    $9.00

total              -  43.50 plus TAX

ok, theirs that.  I have questions.  do you want to put end caps on the
pipe or leave it bare?

to build this you will need a pipe cutter, and a 5/8" spade bit.   and a

drill press.

The reason you need a drill press is because it will be VERY hard to
drill into a 2x4 by hand and keep the hole square on all sides.  if you
do not  make the hole square,  then all your pipes will be at weird
angles to each other AND maybe even angled down, where a robot could
slide off it.

here are 2 pics:

the second pic might be better to show scale.
