Here's some fuel for the fire. If you start writing that book, you
could use this as a research trip. Then you could write off the cost
on your taxes.
Or do it as a job-hunting trip, you can write off those too. You
don't have to *find* a job, or *accept* a job, just *look for* one.
Heck, you don't even need to get an interview.
At least, here in the States you can.
