I have the set #396-1: Thatcher Perkins Locomotive. Got it when it was
new as a gift. I still have the instruction sheet/poster! (I was a
little obsessive as a kid.) I did a quick inventory and found I still
have all the parts but am missing:
1 x461a Black Plate 1 x 2 with Steam Engine Cylinder Angled
1 x515 Yellow Train Steam Drive Rod (tip is broken on one)
and the sticker sheet.
Any Toronto Trainers have extra rod/cylinders they might be willing to
part with?
Anyone know where I could get a replacement/scan of the sticker sheet?
I got this when I was 8. It sat on my shelf and was dusted faithfully
by my mother every week for several years until I took it apart. I was
hoping to rebuild this with my son, who happens to be 8 now as well!
Thanks,
Rob A>

| (...) Ahhh... that sounds really cute.... a sort of right of passage. (to build) :) The only one I know that has a Thatch-Perk is Matthias Jetleb (Jetleb@Netcom.ca). He brought one to Train2? (I think). Here is the link to the only ones on (...) (21 years ago, 28-Mar-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
