  Re: rtlToronto8 and light sensors

(...) Mine is 75% complete. It should join the competition if it doesn't jam all the time. (...) 1 RCX & 1 light sensor. (...) I use the same angled sensor method. Once my bot see a block it stop and eat the block so that's not an issue for me. (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: beverages

(...) Well, if you ever make it to Ottawa, that is while I'm still here, I'd be happy to get together and buy you a beverage. I wish my job allowed for more travel, but our training budget is zilch. Still waiting for the upturn in the high-tech (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rtlToronto8 and light sensors

Hey folks, First, as a rough count, how many folks are coming to rtlToronto8 (June 9th, Saturday) with a robot for competition? And how many are coming to watch?   Re: Train 1

(...) I'll second that motion. I won't be LEGO'd out 'til I'm dead. The only thing keeping me from Brickfest is the time & money. And as Dave has said, after Train1 I'm inspired to do much more, but wonder how I will ever find the time & resources (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  beverages

I am pretty sure (1) I will be in Toronto on Thursday nite this week. I know you all are between shows, and pretty busy. But if there's anyone that wants to get together (if only to see what I'm really like) I'd be delighted to stand you a beverage (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train 1

(...) All Lego'd out? is there such a thing??? I'm inspired to do soooo many things now, just have to find the time in the next 11 days to get a 'bot together to kick heinie... and have to build modules, convince Calum to build a dcc motor or 2 for (...)   Re: Train 1

(...) I see someone is $162.50US poorer. Congrats. Looks like it's in excellent condition. Can you tell I'm jealous? Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train 1

(...) I'm pretty open to sawing them open and soldering the N scale decoder in. Motors are pretty disposable as far as I'm concerned. In fact, I have more motors than locomotive models, so it's not a big deal. :) It's really the organizational issue (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
