Greetings,

I think we a sticking with 3 bricks and two plates as the addition to
the 10 high pillars as the monorail track standard (plus variations by
10 bricks).  For the last show I made them plate, brick, brick, brick,
plate.  This made them very stable, but if they were attached to the
plates they were very hard to get off.  Also, there was no easy way to
mark them.  The bricks were just on the outer edge, where the plates
were equivalent to a 6 x 6.

How about we make them (from the bottom) brick, plate, brick, brick,
plate (or all hollow - less stable I think).  This way, there will be an
inner cavity that can be marked (either with masking tape or a
differently coloured plate).  Plus if it is attached to a baseplate it
will be much easier to remove a brick that sticks than a plate.

Is that making any sense to people?  I'm going to make mine with a red
plate inside (since I added a loop of red thread to my wires to mark
them).

If we are going with a larger monorail I need to check what track pieces
are available.  Lawrence, I figure your track totals have changed since
I last asked :).
